Case Study: AFLW Stars Inspire as Speakers, Influencers & More
PickStar is the best place to book the stars of the AFL women's league. Here's how our clients have made it happen.
Women's football continues to rise and AFLW athletes are highly sought-after on PickStar to share their inspiring stories, motivate young athletes and partner with brands and organisations.
Here's just a few examples of recent AFLW bookings on PickStar.
Scotch College Old Collegians Association launched their first women's football team, and wanted two professionals to share their stories at a club event.
After canvassing the options on PickStar, the club booked AFLW premiership players from the Adelaide Crows, Courtney Cramey and Jess Sedunary, who shared their insights and helped inspire female footballers at the club to pursue their dreams.
Collingwood star and former Olympian Georgie Parker talked about her mental health challenges and insights at Westbourne Grammar School, with excellent feedback.
"The Year 7 & 8 girls really enjoyed Georgie’s talk and Q&A session for Good Mental Health Week. They found her story of persistence interesting and relatable. For our sports players, Georgie’s reassurance that it can take many try outs to actually make a team was an eye opener. The girls also felt that it was good to hear that even elite sports people struggle with their mental health and body image and praised Georgie for being so open about it. The teaching staff present were equally full of acclaim for Georgie and agreed with her suggestion that students be open and honest about how well they can balance their homework with sporting commitments. We feel very strongly about the future of girls in sport and Georgie’s talk will have encouraged more of our students to continue with their sporting journey."
With 70,000 Instagram followers to her name, Hasbro booked footy personality Abbey Holmes to help promote the new Monopoly 'Cheaters' edition.

North Melbourne's Kaitlyn Ashmore shared her sporting story at the AFL members luncheon at Melbourne University, during Grand Final week celebrations.
