Sports Influencers Booked for Video Game Launch
The Brief
Australian sports influencers and dads to test out the new StarLink: Battle for Atlas game with their children, and post about the experience on their Instagram profiles.
Solution
To coincide with the launch of their new game StarLink: Battle for Atlas, Ubisoft wanted to use some serious star power to make an impact.
Ubisoft had a specific talent brief in mind: Australian sports influencers who are also dads with children aged 5-14. The stars had to have large followings on Instagram and be influential among families.
Ubisoft, with advice from Pickstar, canvassed Pickstar's extensive network of 1000+ sports talent. The client built a shortlist of preferred talent, deciding to lock in Paul Gallen and Adam Reynolds.
Outcome
Paul and Ryan provided a candid experience with their children playing and enjoying the game, including a strong call to action and branded hashtags. The posts were able to generate strong engagement from their combined 200k+ audience, including over 3000+ likes on Instagram.
