It was the hilarious air-kick that left the Mainz goalkeeper red-faced.
Robin Zentner made the embarrassing mistake of not following the ball and almost let slip a goal to the opposition in front of 46,000 fans at Borussia Park.
But luckily for the 23-year old 'keeper he got away with it and explained that he somehow managed to mistake the penalty spot for the ball.

"The ball was passed back to me with a bit of backspin," Zentner said.
"In the corner of my eye, I could see something white and I thought it was the ball — but it was the penalty spot and the ball was somewhere else."
